Best Keyboards for office use
There has been no change in the nature of the office in the past couple of years, but the need for a reliable keyboard hasn’t. It’s important to have a keyboard that’s comfortable, quiet, and satisfying to type on when using it for work. The wireless models we recommend have incredibly long battery lives, which means you won’t need to charge them very often. Wireless models are also a good choice, as there’s no cable management required.
The best keyboards for work are listed below. We have tested over 185 keyboards. However, if you’re interested in a specific type of keyboard, you can see our recommendations for the best keyboards for programming or the best keyboards for writing. Logitech MX Mechanical ~Best Office Keyboard

Logitech MX Mechanical Mini TKL Illuminated Wireless Keyboard
Because office keyboards need to be comfortable, quiet, and satisfying to type on, we recommend the Logitech MX Mechanical as the top office keyboard. As you don’t have to strain your wrists upwards to reach the keys, low-profile switches are quieter and more comfortable to use on this mechanical unit. The clicky Blue gives you a more subdued and softer click, which is still office-appropriate, while the tactile Brown provides a bit of resistance.
Aside from its aesthetic and comfort features, this keyboard has a number of software integrations for better productivity. Logitech’s FLOW feature lets you control multiple devices and share files between devices simultaneously. You can even pair the keyboard with up to three other devices using standard Bluetooth. In addition, you can connect this keyboard to a USB receiver that is included with this keyboard, which will offer a more reliable wireless connection in congested Bluetooth environments. With this USB receiver, you will also be able to connect this keyboard to a Logitech mouse, so you will only need one receiver for multiple devices.

Logitech MX Keys ~Best Mid-Range Office Keyboard

A mid-range office keyboard like the Logitech MX Keys is a great choice if you’re used to typing on a laptop. In contrast to the Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard, it uses scissor switches similar to that of laptop keyboards. This keyboard offers productivity-oriented software features to improve your workflow, even though the typing experience isn’t as premium. Logitech’s Unifying Receiver or Bluetooth are used to connect wirelessly.
In order to create a nice overall product, Logitech put in a lot of finer details on this keyboard, since it was Logitech’s flagship office keyboard for a long time. You can type more accurately with the high-profile keys because they have a slight indent in the middle, while the low profile keys keep your wrists flat on your work surface for support. This keyboard is quite lightweight despite having a plastic top plate that looks like metal, unlike the MX Mechanical, which has a rigid metal top plate for added durability.

Logitech Signature K650~ Best Budget Office Keyboard

Logitech Signature K650 Comfort Full-Size Wireless Keyboard
In comparison to scissor or mechanical switches, the Logitech Signature K650 is your best bet for a budget-friendly office keyboard. While the switches on the Logitech MX Keys are quiet and comfortable to type on, they do not feel as snappy as the switches on the Logitech MX Keys, and if you are constantly typing on a laptop keyboard, they may feel mushier.
Because of the keyboard’s budget price point, it has quite a few ergonomic features built-in. The palm rest supports your wrists nicely, while the keys are deep-set into the board, which makes it easier to reach them without straining your wrists upwards. The plastic frame is all one solid piece, so you won’t have to worry about moving parts if you eat or drink in front of your computer.

Logitech K380 ~Best Cheap Office Keyboard

Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboar
Because of its compact size and lightweight materials, the Logitech K380 is one of the best cheap office keyboards we’ve tested. Students and professionals alike love it because of its compact size and light weight. The keyboard is very lightweight and fits very easily into bags, making it perfect for working in cafes, trains, or planes. The keyboard also does not require cable management because it connects via Bluetooth. A single button allows you to switch between up to three devices simultaneously.
There are some trade-offs with any cheap unit, especially for its price point. Two AAA batteries are used to provide power, and they will last up to two years before needing to be replaced. The circular keycaps are smaller than average, and the layout is scaled down, so it can feel a bit cramped. Even though it performs incredibly well, it does take some getting used to typing on it. Then you’ll have a constant companion who’s always prepared to work when you are.
It is, however, best to purchase the Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard if you know you will need a Numpad every day. While it’s not as well-built as the K380, and it’s too heavy to be portable due to its Numpad and navigational cluster, it offers a very quiet typing experience. In any case, you’d be better off buying this unit when it’s on sale for about half of its regular price.

Logitech ERGO K860 ~Best Ergonomic Office Keyboard

Logitech ERGO K860 Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard
Despite looking intimidating at first, the Logitech ERGO K860 is extremely powerful and has a lot of ergonomic features for you to enjoy. Once you get used to it, you’ll find it extremely useful. While typing, your shoulders, wrists, and hands will remain in a more natural position due to the wave-like shape of the keyboard, which descends into two distinct clusters of keys. You’ll also get good palm support from the attached wrist rest, which is plush and of high quality. Read more on best budget keyboards for gaming
It has feet on the side closest to you instead of on the top of the board as in the standard incline setting. When the feet are popped open, the board tilts away from you, so your wrists bend downwards instead of upwards. You can connect it with its USB receiver or with up to three devices at once using Bluetooth. Also, it has an extremely long battery life, lasting around two years.
