Throw Distance

A laser projector also has the advantage of having a shorter throw distance than lamp-based models.  The screen and wall may be physically separated by only two feet in some cases, allowing a 100-inch or larger image to be produced. Resolution

HD content can only be played in its full detail by a projector with its native resolution. In general, higher resolutions are more expensive. Although most home theater projectors use 1080p resolution, some advanced laser projectors may have full 4K UHD support (check out the best 4K projectors for 2022).

Despite not reaching 8K resolution, the LG HU715Q, LG HU915QE, and HU810PW use upscaling with Super Resolution, giving Ultra HD content even more detail, and producing the sharpest, clearest picture on this list.

Sound

Before the development of laser projectors for home theaters, they were designed primarily for presentations and offices. In contrast with most home theater projectors, these don’t usually come with speakers.

We have never seen a better HDR image than with the Sony GTZ380. The VPL-GTZ380, Sony’s flagship projector that retails for $80,000 (minus lens), is a 10,000 lumen, native 4K SXRD projector that delivers the ultimate home theater experience.

Sony’s proprietary LCoS technology, the SXRD panel on the GTZ380, delivers a 16,000:1 contrast ratio and deep black levels. This panel benefits from a new liquid crystal material that produces 10,000 lumens of brightness while improving light stability and durability.

This new laser light source is designed by Sony for use in the GTZ380. To achieve a full DCI-P3 color gamut without losing brightness, this unit incorporates a red laser diode along with two different blue laser diodes. However, informal tests revealed that the colors were not as accurate as they should be according to the BenQ V7050i.You will not notice the difference if you are unfamiliar with the original image, however.Through the use of DLP link glasses, this projector supports 3D in full HD.

Many of the new generation projectors, however, do not display 3D motion artifacts as clearly during the test. It will not be a problem for you if you do not find rainbow artifacts or if they do not bother you.  It should preferably be a high priority on your shortlist, but if it bothers you, it should be ruled out of the running.
