I think the Logitech MX Master 3 is the best mouse on my list because it is wireless and recharges using a USB-C cable. Upon fully charging, the mouse will last 70 days, which is way above and beyond all other mice in my top five list. Logitech claims that the mouse lasts 3 hours after 1 minute of charging, which is impressive, especially in light of its price range.

As well as the standard left, right, and scroll buttons, it also comes with a side scroll wheel and two customizable buttons. The scrolls are remarkably quiet, precise and smooth, so you can easily customize your most used Photoshop shortcuts like Ctrl+Z and the pen tool.

Its ergonomic design, ambidextrous-ness, and 4000 dpi sensor make it more than adequate for photoshop use, along with working on glass and other surfaces.

In addition, the mouse offers the ability to switch between three screens if you have a multiple screen setup, so you can effectively work in Photoshop and other programs.

Logitech makes some of the best mice in the world. The G700s is significantly more expensive than the MX master, but at least for gamers it is worth it. Photoshop and photo editing won’t be as easy with 13 controllable buttons, but it’s designed for high-performance gamers so doing design and editing tasks will be easy.

Despite being built to survive hours of abuse from even the most enthusiastic gamers, the mouse looks great and has a solid build. The design isn’t minimalist, but it’s also not over the top with RGB lights all over like the stereotypical gaming mouse. Despite its 13 buttons, it’s very well placed and easy to use, so you don’t feel them at all. It does not feel cluttered at all. Over 12 million clicks are predicted for the buttons!

Unlike the MX Master 3, the G700s can be charged via USB while you use it. You will barely notice a difference in performance as the mouse switches to data over cable so you can keep working uninterrupted. A great feature for gamers, but a huge benefit for designers working on long Photoshop projects.

In particular, I like keyboard shortcuts because I don’t need multiple customizable buttons and don’t need multiple customizable buttons. Also, it is the lightest mouse on this list, and while it does not have the gripping ergonomic design like other mice, its lightness contributes to its comfort.

Its downside is that it doesn’t have adjustable DPI, which is a bit annoying. The DPI of this mouse is 1300, so it’s quite low. You might resort to thumping and hopping your mouse on your desk if you’re using a large display and you need to jump quickly between ends.

It has some significant drawbacks, so why is it on this list? Well, for Mac users, this means that it’s the best mouse that works right out of the box with the device. Other mice from Logitech and other brands require you to download software in order to use them on a Mac. Apple’s Ipad Air is also compatible with the Magic Mouse. In addition to customizable buttons, gestures are another feature that Apple has added to the mouse. During photo editing and Photoshop, it performs as it should, but you’ll have trouble maneuvering it on large screens and multiple screens. It’ll also last longer than most gaming mice on a single charge, so I wouldn’t recommend it for competitive gaming.

Its design is not as ergonomic as the G700s because of this, but left-handed people will appreciate the inclusion, which makes it truly ambidextrous. This makes it just as good for left-handed people as it is for right-handed people. It doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all.

With 11 customizable buttons for all your shortcuts, this mouse is perfect for Photoshop users and digital artists. It looks like a gaming mouse, but won’t look odd on your desk. Logitech also supports the mouse with an easy-to-use software interface, which allows you to customize the mouse, including RGB lighting, to your liking. With 16 million RGB colors, you can set them up in any style you want, even matching them with your desktop RGB fans if you like the disco desk setup.

You can move your cursor across multiple screens with just the click of a switch thanks to the mouse’s impressive DPI range of 200-12,000 DPI, fully adjustable. When you take a look at the Corsair Scimitar Pro, it’s a pretty intimidating beast. The transformer aesthetic, multiple buttons, and RGB glow are all going to impress or scare you. You can adjust the DPI so you can accomplish all your tasks well, but it’s designed for gaming and that’s the highest DPI on this list, which is truly overkill for Photoshop.

This mouse is fully wired, so you won’t have to worry about charging and you’ll get quick, accurate performance regardless of the distance between your CPU and your desk.

It comes with a lot of features for the price. My first problem is that I find the design to be cluttered, especially with those protruding customizable buttons on the side. If I had to use them all, I would not be able to find it easy. Although it has only one extra button (12) than the Logitech G900, it is so discreet and functional that you barely notice the buttons.

It’s also wired with no wireless option, which is a disappointment. Also, you’ll have to carry that long cable around with it. Setting up the buttons might also be difficult. Depending on how you customize the mouse, it is possible that the software reduces framerate on a PC.

The mouse is solidly built and durable, so it’s a great mouse for Photoshop users. Heck, the RGB lights and custom buttons will make you love it, too. In addition to being comfortable and quiet, it is well-weighted, striking a great balance between light and heavy.

With the Anker Vertical, you can easily scroll through the webpage by using the next/previous buttons. This mouse has five buttons and feels like an extension of your hand. The handle feels natural and offers a comfortable grip, similar to a great mouse should feel.

Powered by two AAA batteries, the Anker Vertical isn’t rechargeable, but we shouldn’t expect it to be for its price range. Thanks to its energy-saving feature, it is a very energy-efficient mouse. Batteries need to be replaced no sooner than a year after you purchase it.

Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems are all supported by the mouse via a USB dongle.
