Review
The Logitech MK850 Wireless Comfort has been put through its paces, and we must say we’re impressed. You’ll get a great typing experience for much less than you might expect with this great general-purpose keyboard, which works well for almost everyone – except gamers.
Although the keys have a bit of resistance on them, they are incredibly comfortable and satisfying to use. We also found it to be extremely lightweight for a full-size keyboard, even though it does have a bit of resistance. And even though we wouldn’t recommend it for travel, it has a low profile.
Unlike other keyboards, this one has a new and timely feature – a microphone mute and unmute so you don’t have to panic every time you need to switch your microphone during meetings. There are also new web browser and screenshot buttons, which should be appreciated by a lot of people. Those features are rounded out by its multi-connectivity and 36-month battery life.

Review
In spite of its lack of beauty or compactness, the Cherry Stream Desktop keyboard is arguably the best keyboard of 2022. With this no-nonsense Cherry SX scissor-switch keyboard, you’ll have a basic keyboard with some important modern features. The performance and typing comfort it provided during testing floored us, even though we were expecting to be underwhelmed by it.
Despite not being exactly what you’d call eye candy, this Cherry SX scissor-switch keyboard is robust and affordable, as well as providing great performance and even greater comfort, making it a pleasure to use. As for the setup, it is extremely simple, something casual users will appreciate as well. It and its accompanying mouse can be connected to your computer or laptop with just a dongle, so you can free up some of those ports so you can connect other devices. REASONS TO BUY
There is surprisingly little noise from mechanical keys

Review
You’ll want to shell out for the Razer Pro Type Ultra because it’s a good product. You’ll get satisfying tactile feedback from these silent and linear mechanical keys without being bothered by unnecessarily loud clicks or clacks that might disturb co-workers or clients during video calls.
Moreover, it comes with a luxurious wrist pad to keep your wrists comfortable during long typing sessions, as it has three connectivity options, multi-device connectivity, and three connectivity options. We found that because the keys are raised, our wrists bend upward while typing, but the wrist pad does provide enough support to compensate for this.
It comes with a battery life of up to 214 hours on Bluetooth and up to 207 hours on 2.4GHz. Of course, you can also go wired if you don’t want to charge it every time it runs out. You might never look at your productivity workload the same again if you pair this one with the Razer Pro Click Mini.

With Razer’s analog mechanical key switches and the latest optical technology, the Huntsman v2 Analog delivers a five-star rating from us. Although it is a bit older, this gaming keyboard still delivers an incredible typing and gaming experience, making it one of the best keyboards on the market. A large reason for this is the highly satisfying tactile feedback it delivers, as well as the ergonomic wrist rest that makes playing a game more comfortable and more enjoyable.
When it comes to keyboards, it’s quite expensive. However, that’s not a surprise when you consider that it comes with a lot of features, specifically features you can’t find anywhere else on the market. Among the best mini keyboards on the market, the Logitech MX Keys Mini is one of the best. It is compact, thin, and lightweight, so it is as ideal for traveling and commuting as it is for home use, which makes it the perfect option for remote and hybrid workers today.
We found the keyboard to deliver a pleasant typing experience even though it is wrapped in a compact package, with ergonomically designed keys that remain in place and feel tactile despite the absence of mechanical switches, despite keeping your fingertips in place. Despite being carried around in our backpack for a week, it doesn’t seem to have scratched or bumped. In addition, since this is a Logitech product, it comes with a multi-device partnership system that lets you pair three devices simultaneously and easily switch between them.

It features an impressively solid and premium build along with a comfortable and satisfying typing feel, making this Drop mechanical keyboard an ideal choice for fans of The Lord of the Rings. Despite the fact that this keeb is outside of the scope of our usual offerings, it’s part of our effort to include worthy brands that have become cult among mechanical keyboard fans with discerning tastes in recent years.
The Drop + Lord of the Rings keyboard is still undergoing our full review, but we have completed testing it, and we are very impressed with it. Mechanical keyboard enthusiasts will find its tactile experience unparalleled thanks to its Holy Panda X switches and Phantom Stabilizers, and its sound is something mechanical keyboard enthusiasts will find orgasmic thanks to its Holy Panda X switches and Phantom Stabilizers.
Aside from the regular English alphabet and keyboard legends, the keycaps are gorgeous, stamped with Sindarin phrases and Tengwar script, along with a concave design so your fingers stay put. As part of Drop’s Autumn in Rivendell Kit, you even get a set of extra keys so that you can customize it in some ways. Currently, the keycaps are designed in such a way that they make each key feel a little cramped because of their small size.

Apple Magic Keyboard

REASONS TO BUY
Compact and thin, making it suitable for setups that are small or portable
Using scissors switches is a pleasure
REASONS TO AVOID
The color white is easily dirty
Review
The Magic Keyboard from Apple is the most comfortable, reliable, and attractive keyboard we have ever used. In addition to being extremely sleek and thin, this keyboard is incredibly comfortable to use. Having used the Magic Keyboard ourselves, we found its great bounce and satisfying tactile feedback to be helpful when typing for hours on end. Those benefits are largely attributed to Apple’s laptops, too, which use a stable scissor mechanism. Read more on Best Keyboards for office use
We also love its Touch ID reader, which works incredibly well and is responsive, and its long battery life. It is so simple to use as well. You can pair it with your Mac automatically when you turn it on for the first time – it is so Apple-like. We find the slim and compact design of the keyboard to be a bit of a double-edged sword as we find it not the most ergonomic keyboard. Still, that isn’t bad of a trade-off.

Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro~The Best Keyboards for 2023
The best low-profile gaming keyboard
SPECIFICATIONS
Interface: HyperSpeed 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, Wired (USB)Keyboard backlighting: YesSwitches: Optical
REASONS TO BUY
An elegant, slim design
The actuation distance is shorter
Plus, it is very comfortable
REASONS TO AVOID
It’s expensive
Review
Razer fans have been waiting for a low-profile keyboard for at least a couple of years, and finally they are getting not just one, but a whole line of slim and sleek gaming keyboards. Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro is the first in line to enter this form factor market with impressive specs.
One of the reasons we like it so much is its short travel distance of 2.8mm and short actuation (if you get the linear optical version) – which makes gaming and typing on it all the more comfortable. This is just a tad shorter than our previous favorite, the Logitech G915 TKL Lightspeed.
With three different types of connectivity, you can connect to three devices simultaneously: Bluetooth, USB wired, and 2.4GHz wireless, making it very versatile. And it’s more than that too. By using the three buttons on the back of the device, you can easily switch between devices.
In addition to the highly customizable Chrome RGB lighting and a full-key programmable design, this laptop offers a 40-hour battery life on a single charge. This is the best low-profile gaming keyboard for gaming and productivity.

Das Keyboard MacTigr~The Best Keyboards for 2023
Excellent mechanical keyboard suited for the office
SPECIFICATIONS
Interface: WiredKeyboard backlighting: NoSwitches: Cherry MX Red
REASONS TO BUY
Switches from Cherry MX are incredibly tactile
Well-built and sturdy
Plug-and-play functionality
REASONS TO AVOID
It does not have a backlight
An angle of flatness
Review
Almost no mechanical keyboards are designed for Mac users. If you’ve been wondering how mechanical keys can be enjoyed on your iMac or any Apple computer with a USB-C port, the Das Keyboard MacTigr is just what you need. With its full Mac layout and plug-and-play compatibility, it’s perfect for Macs.
The Cherry MX Red keys are a delight to use, and with a 1.2mm actuation point, they are an upgrade over what came with your Mac. Luckily, the experience is not an upgrade. The all-metal construction also makes it incredibly durable, along with the 100 million-press rating of those keys.
Nevertheless, it has some flaws, like not having backlighting, which you can even find on older MacBooks. If you have a desk that sits a little higher, you might find it uncomfortable because it has no legs to adjust the angle of the keyboard. Nevertheless, you will enjoy using Apple shortcuts on a sturdy and fast mechanical keyboard.

Unicomp New Model M~The Best Keyboards for 2023
Robust nostalgic keyboard ideal for typists and purists
SPECIFICATIONS
Interface: WiredKeyboard backlighting: NSwitches: Buckling spring
REASONS TO BUY
An easy-to-use switch that snaps into place
Designed in the retro style of the 90s, this peripheral has a retro look
REASONS TO AVOID
Finger fatigue can quickly result from pressing keys
Spending more on a keyboard than most people would normally spend
Review
In the Unicomp New Model M, you’ll experience a similar feel to the old IBM Model M keyboards. A coil spring sits between the keycap and a pivoting hammer, which collapses when you click it. It comes in USB and PS/2 versions. It uses buckling spring switches that come with both USB and PS/2 versions.
What makes these keys so different from many other modern switches is that they take a lot more effort to press. You get to enjoy a tactile response similar to the old mechanical keyboards, as well as a louder noise that will make everyone around you mad. If you’re a robust typist who spends most of your time crafting documents, this keyboard is a great option. Plus, you’re getting a full set of keys as well. Don’t disturb your neighbors if you don’t want them bothered.
How to choose the Best Keyboards for 2023
For those who prefer slim and stealthy keyboards over those with mechanical switches, we suggest taking a look at our best gaming keyboards round-up.
Among gamers, mechanical keyboards provide clicky actuation, while for home and office users, practicality is more important. It must be noted, however, that many mechanical keyboards produce a lot of sound, which can be offputting to some folks. For them, we recommend membrane keyboards.
How we tested The Best Keyboards for 2023
In spite of the fact that most people might think peripherals come second to everything else, testing them is an important matter. It’s especially important for keyboards since they’re your main interface with your laptop or PC, and you use them all day long. Therefore, it must not only be reliable and perform well, but it must also be comfortable and satisfying to use.
As a result of this, we treat every keyboard we receive as our main keyboard and use them for at least a week. In doing so, we’ll not only experience it as consumers would, but also encounter any quirks, flaws, or problems we might encounter.
For compact keyboards, we also test them out to see how travel-friendly or ideal they are for small setups. One major priority for keyboards is minimizing finger, wrist, and shoulder fatigue.
If a keyboard is wireless or has wireless connectivity, we take a closer look at that connection – how strong it is, if there are any noticeable lags, and how far it can be reached. We test any keyboards that have additional features in order to determine their effectiveness and how useful they are. In the end, we compare our findings with the keyboard’s price to determine whether or not it’s a great value or too overpriced to recommend.
